Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona: the Spanish League
There is no doubt that FC Barcelona played much better than Real Madrid during the first clásico Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona. The first of the four clasicos Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona to be played within 18 days ended in a 1-1 draw.
The first half of the game, which ended scoredless, was little exciting. The second half was less boring since Real Madrid finally woke up and there were more chances of goal.
It was obvious that the two teams had different game plans as well as different attitudes. Real Madrid cornered their rivals trying to get the ball even resorting to force with some actions worth a yellow card.
In the end, Albiol got a red one and had to leave the pitch. Therefore, Real Madrid had to continue with just ten men giving their coach a good excuse for not having won the match.
